I have received e-mail from the tour coordinators providing a list of folks on the pre- and post-tours of the Apimondia Congress that I am signed up for. The audience for the pre-tour, which runs from Sydney to Melbourne has folks from the Americas, Europe and Australia. Most of these people I do not know, but have interacted with Gus Rouse of Kona Queen, Hawaii's number on queen producer/breeder. In addition, I see quite a contingent from Chile, a place I visited just a few years ago.
On the post-tour to Perth, I see my old friend and colleague, Mr. Laurence Cutts.
